What a revelation, 19 April 2011

Just couldn't get my 15-month old girls to keep any gloves on. Then they got these (I actually got one bee and one ladybird set, and give each twin one of each) and they actively ask to wear them. Lovely quality, bright colours and lots of fun. Quite tough for them to take off by themselves once they have both on, although the joy of these is that they don't want to take them off.

I bought these gloves for my daughter who was 15 months old at the time and wouldn't keep any gloves on! These are fab! She keeps them on, they keep her whole arm (from elbow to had) nice and toasty and she loves the fact that they are ladybirds! Bonus! Best gloves for little hands!

I bought these for my son who has just turned 2. I was fed up with his 'normal mittens' coming off all the time in the cold weather. These are really good. There is no faffing around looking where to put a thumb and they stay on. I saw a mother recently trying to put on normal gloves on a toddler around the same age. It took her about 5 minutes.....why? These are perfect and my son loves them shouting Bee and ZZZZ all the time.
A recommended buy.

I bet you thought they didn't exist? Mittens that stay on? Impossible. Not true. I walked to the post office to pick these up. The whole way I felt guilty because my son stubbornly refuses to keep his hands covered and they were as cold as ice. I put these on right over his coat and they stayed on until I got home. Don't get me wrong - he did try to pull them off with his teeth but as it didn't work he gave up quickly. I have used them over and under the coat. Both ways work a treat! Highly recommend.
5.0 out of 5 stars The first pair of gloves he hasn't wanted to take off!, 24 Jan 2011

Contrary to the description I found that my son could take these off but actually he really enjoys wearing them and for the first time ever now asks to have his gloves on. They pull on over or under coats and seem very snug and comfortable. They are also quite thick so definitely warmer than the mittens and magic gloves I've tried before - and it is easier not trying to feed the thumb into the right place. Also, he can still eat an apple whilst wearing these, which to him is the most important thing! They also look very cute under a big fleece hoodie :)Fingers in gloves are always going to allow them to do more, but for ease, comfort and warmth these are tremendous.

Walk 10 metres. Stop. Pick gloves up from pavement/hedge/busy main road, put gloves back on (resisting) toddler. Repeat x 100. Sound familiar? Get some Snuguns. They stay on (maybe not 100% of the time but at least 75%), they're really easy to put on because they're so stretchy AND she likes them (holds her hand out to have them put on). Just wish I'd bought some of these last winter.

Absolutely the best mittens around. They stay where they are supposed to, have enough space for kids to pick things up and hold and still keep their hands warm. An absolute must for cold toddlers!

I don't know if these would seem a bit oversized for very little hands but for my 18 month old they're fine. They actually stay on, keep hands snug and are soft, not itchy, inside.

I bought some 'snuguns' for my 1 year old, as try as i might he would not keep conventional gloves on. either through pulling of biting them off. I initially was after the old fashioned ones with string as he kept throwing them out of his pushchair, but thought i would still have the same problem of cold hands. these are fantastic as they go right up the arm, so try as he might my little one couldnt pull them off. just whats needed in this freezing weather. 10 out of 10
5.0 out of 5 stars best mittens ever!!!, 27 Jan 2011
By Eve - This review is from: Snuguns Mittens for toddlers - Black
I bought these for my 1 year old son because he refused to wear his mittens, if i did eventually get them on him he would just bite them off again.
when we had snow it was so cold that his hands would freeze and go red and then he would cry but still refused the mittens so i bought these and they are great, at first he didn't want them on but once they were on he couldn't get them off and eventually gave up.
Now when i go to put his mittens on he just lets me do it.
They have very big hand space in them which he likes because he can still pick up his drink or toys with them on, normal mittens have the fiddly thumb bit as well which these don't so they are also easier to get on.
These are quite expensive compared to other mittens but they are definitely worth every penny and will last for years.

I bought 2 pairs of these mittens for my twins. They are a year old, and i had looked everywhere for something to keep their little hands warm when out in the buggy. These are a little too big but due to the lenght they can still wear them as they go all the way up their arm so they dont fall off (or can't be easily pulled off) and they really do keep their little hands warm, i would defo recommend them if you are looking for something to keep your little ones hands warm!
